The hospital provides comprehensive secondary-care services with facilities including ICU, operation theatres, 24×7 emergency services, in-house laboratory and pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive consultation and management for Obstetric and Gynaecological patients.
- Conduct antenatal and postnatal consultations and manage high-risk pregnancies.
- Independently manage normal and complicated obstetric cases as per clinical requirements.
- Perform and supervise LSCS (Caesarean Sections) and other obstetric procedures.
- Perform common gynaecological surgical procedures, including:
- Hysterectomy
- Ovarian cyst surgery
- Fibroid-related procedures
- D&C; and other indicated procedures
- Other routine and emergency gynaecological surgeries
- Evaluate and manage patients with menstrual disorders, infertility-related concerns, PCOS, fibroids, ovarian cysts and other gynaecological conditions.
- Attend gynaecological and obstetric emergencies as required.
- Conduct regular OPD and inpatient rounds.
- Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, operative notes and discharge summaries.
- Coordinate with anaesthetists, surgeons, paediatricians, nursing staff and other departments for comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital clinical protocols and applicable statutory requirements.




- Participate in health camps, community outreach programmes and hospital promotional medical activities when required.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of patient care.

Required Qualification

- MBBS + MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or equivalent recognised postgraduate qualification.
- Valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council/NMC.
- Good clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to independently handle routine as well as emergency obstetric and gynaecological cases.
- Surgical experience will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Preference may be given to candidates with experience in:

- LSCS and emergency obstetrics
- High-risk pregnancy management
- Hysterectomy
- Ovarian cyst and fibroid surgery
- Laparoscopic gynaecological procedures
- Emergency gynaecology
- Inpatient and ICU coordination
- Independent OT management

Working Arrangement

- Full-Time Consultant Position
- Regular OPD and inpatient responsibilities
- OT and emergency coverage as per hospital roster

- Salary/Remuneration: Negotiable and based on qualification, experience and clinical/surgical expertise.
