About Bandhoo

Bandhoo is a Construction Technology (ConTech) company building technology-led solutions to improve quality, transparency, and productivity across the construction industry.

We are building CONSTRA, an AI-powered construction quality platform, and are looking for an experienced Construction Quality Expert with strong hands-on experience in QA/QC, site inspections, snagging, defect identification, and construction quality audits.

This is a hands-on site quality role for someone who can independently inspect construction work, identify defects, understand their root causes, and assess whether the work meets the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Construction Quality Inspection

- Conduct detailed site quality inspections and construction quality audits.
- Inspect RCC and structural works, masonry/blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring and tiling, painting and finishing, doors and windows, false ceiling, plumbing, and electrical/MEP works.
- Identify defects, workmanship issues, deviations, incomplete work, and quality deficiencies.
- Verify construction work against approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, ITPs, method statements, and applicable quality standards.
- Assess the severity and impact of identified defects.

2. Snagging & Defect Assessment

- Conduct snagging, pre-handover, and quality inspections.
- Prepare detailed snag/punch lists including defect description, location, photographs, severity, and recommended corrective action.
- Conduct re-inspections after rectification and verify defect closure.
- Identify recurring quality issues and their likely root causes.

3. QA/QC Documentation

- Review and work with ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, IRs, inspection checklists, and quality reports.
- Maintain quality inspection records and documentation.




- Evaluate contractor workmanship against approved quality standards.
- Support the development of quality checklists, defect categories, and quality benchmarks.

4. Support CONSTRA – AI Construction Quality Platform

- Use practical construction knowledge to identify and define real-world defects and quality issues.
- Review and validate defects identified through site photographs and videos.
- Help develop standardized defect taxonomies, inspection checklists, and quality benchmarks.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to improve CONSTRA's quality-assessment accuracy.
- Participate in pilot projects and testing of digital inspection workflows.

No prior AI or technology experience is required. Strong construction quality expertise is what matters.

5. Site & Client Assessments

- Conduct quality assessments at construction and real estate projects.
- Visit project sites across Bangalore and other locations as required.
- Clearly communicate quality observations to site engineers, contractors, and client representatives.
- Provide practical and actionable recommendations for defect rectification.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in construction QA/QC, quality inspection, or snagging.
- Strong experience in construction quality inspection and defect identification.
- Experience in snagging, pre-handover inspections, quality audits, and defect closure.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction and finishing quality.
- Practical understanding of ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, IRs, and material testing.
- Ability to identify defects through direct physical inspection of construction work.
- Good understanding of IS Codes and construction quality standards.




- Experience evaluating contractor workmanship and quality compliance.
- Robust documentation and reporting skills.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

- QA/QC Engineer / Senior QA/QC Engineer
- Quality Engineer / Construction Quality Engineer
- QC Engineer
- Quality Inspector
- Construction Quality Auditor
- Snagging / Property Inspection Professional
- QA/QC Manager with strong hands-on site inspection experience

Experience with real estate developers, builders, PMC companies, construction companies, property inspection firms, or quality consultancies will be an advantage.

Who Should Apply?

If your experience is primarily in project execution, planning, cost/contracts management, or client coordination, with limited hands-on quality inspection, this role may not be the right fit.
