Job Title: Auditor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Auditor to conduct financial audits, verify records, ensure compliance, and identify discrepancies. The role will involve both office-based audit work and field visits to stores, branches, warehouses, and other business locations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Conduct internal and operational audits of stores, branches, and departments.
- Perform field audits and physical visits to verify cash, stock, assets, invoices, and financial records.
- Check daily transactions, sales, purchases, expenses, and payment records.
- Verify physical stock against system records and identify discrepancies.
- Conduct cash verification and reconciliation.
- Check bills, invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Identify errors, irregularities, and potential financial risks.
- Prepare audit reports and highlight observations and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
- Coordinate with Accounts, Purchase, Warehouse, and Store teams during audits.




- Conduct surprise checks and periodic branch/store audits as required.
- Follow up on audit observations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Maintain proper audit documentation and records.
- Travel to different company locations for field audit and verification work.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in auditing, accounting, internal audit, or retail audit will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting systems.
- Robust analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Willingness to travel for field audits.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to identify discrepancies and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience:

1–3 years of relevant experience in auditing, accounting, retail audit, or financial operations.
