Content Creator (Photo + Video) | Full-time | Bhopal

Uprisal is a brand and marketing agency working with ambitious businesses and institutions across India. We're building a small on-ground team in Bhopal to create content for a leading education brand, and we're looking for a content creator who is happiest with a camera in hand.

This is a full-time role, based on-site in Bhopal. You'll spend most of your days where the stories are happening: shooting people, spaces, events and everyday moments, then turning them into content that feels real and worth watching.

What you'll be doing

- Shooting photos and videos on both DSLR/mirrorless and phone, depending on what the moment needs
- Capturing day-to-day life, events, interviews, behind-the-scenes and quick vox pops for social
- Editing short-form video for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn, with clean cuts, music, captions and pacing that holds attention
- Handling basic design work such as colour correction, adding frames, supers and typography, and resizing content across formats
- Working with our social media manager and design team to plan shoots around the content calendar




- Keeping raw footage and finished files organised so the wider team can find and reuse them easily
- Spotting content opportunities on the ground and pitching ideas, not just waiting for a brief

What we're looking for

- 3-5 years of experience in content creation, photography or videography (freelance work counts)
- Comfortable shooting on a DSLR or mirrorless camera, and equally positive with a phone
- A working understanding of framing, lighting and audio, especially for interviews and people-led content
- Hands-on with at least one video editor (Premiere Pro, CapCut, VN or similar)
- Basic skills in Lightroom, Photoshop, Canva or similar tools for colour correction and simple layouts
- A good sense of what works on Instagram today, from trending formats to the first three seconds of a reel
- At ease around people, and able to put someone relaxed in front of the camera
- Based in Bhopal or willing to relocate

Good to have

- Experience shooting in schools, colleges, hospitality or lifestyle settings
- Some motion graphics or After Effects skills
