Role Overview : As Content Manager for Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam markets, you will own regional content end-to-end, from planning and scripting through production and performance review. This role sits at the intersection of editorial judgment and operational discipline: you will be responsible for what gets made, when it gets made, and why it performs the way it does.

Why This Role Matters: South India represents some of Little Stories' fastest-growing and most culturally distinct audiences. Getting Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam content right, in language, tone, and cultural nuance, is central to the company's ability to scale credibly across current cities without diluting the hyper-local promise that differentiates it. This role has direct ownership over that outcome.

Key Responsibilities

Own the content calendar

- Build and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars across all three languages, with clear timelines from research through publishing.
- Proactively identify scheduling risk and resolve it before deadlines are affected.

Own production operations

- Take full operational ownership of the production pipeline, coordinating across writers, researchers, editors, video teams, and creators to ensure nothing stalls between stages.




- Build and maintain a shared production tracker that gives complete visibility into the status, owner, and timeline of every piece of content at any given moment.
- Identify bottlenecks across the pipeline before they cause delays, and resolve them directly rather than escalating and waiting.

Drive story ideation

- Track trends across South Indian social media and creator culture on an ongoing basis.
- Pitch episodes, hooks, and series, and maintain a live topic bank to ensure consistent content supply.

Manage scripting and quality

- Brief writers with clarity and specificity.
- Step in to write scripts directly when needed, ensuring quality and timelines are never dependent on writer availability alone.
- Review all scripts for structure, tone, and shareability, and manage revisions efficiently to keep production on schedule.

Analyse performance

- Review views, watch time, retention, shares, and comments across all three languages.
- Translate performance data into clear, actionable recommendations for future content.
