This position belongs to APAC Optics Remote Delivery Engineering team, part of NI (Network Infrastructure) BG. Team is responsible to own and deliver remote Optical Engg Services including Design, Planning, Validation, Transformation, Integration and upgrades of customer's high-capacity Optical Networks and their management.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As part of team, you will deliver full Optical portfolio of qualified services such as:

- Lead and manage complex Optical Transport Network (OTN) projects, ensuring successful design, integration, testing, commissioning, and customer handover.
- Deliver end-to-end optical transport solutions using Nokia and Infinera platforms, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, approved designs, and project timelines
- Collaborate closely with project managers, solution architects, field engineers, and customer teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and expert guidance to cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle, from solution design to final acceptance.
- Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot advanced optical technologies including DWDM, OTN, ROADM, Ethernet over Optical, and Optical Line Systems (OLS).
- Develop, review, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), Method of Procedures (MOPs), Bills of Quantities (BoQs), and network diagrams.
- Perform network integration, validation, performance testing, and acceptance activities while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for optical, service, configuration, and management connectivity issues, ensuring minimal service impact
- Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to maintain clear communication, risk management, and project alignment.




- Represent Nokia's technical expertise during customer meetings, technical reviews, audits, and acceptance testing activities.

Key Skills And Experience

You Have:

- Stay current with emerging optical transport technologies, industry trends, and Nokia/Infinera product advancements to drive innovation and service excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with 8-14 years of relevant experience in optical transport network deployment and integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Nokia and/or Infinera optical platforms, with a proven record of delivering large-scale telecom transport network projects.
- Good understanding of IP networking concepts, including IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols, and network management connectivity, to support integrated telecom solutions.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the willingness to travel as required; Japanese or Chinese language proficiency (spoken preferred) and relevant telecom/optical networking certifications will be considered a strong advantage.
