Join a remote Trust & Safety team helping create a safe, engaging, and trustworthy digital community.

You'll review audio, video, and chat interactions and help ensure that user-generated content follows established community standards.

The role combines content moderation, policy enforcement, quality auditing, and careful decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

You'll play an important part in identifying harmful or inappropriate content and escalating potential policy violations appropriately.

Your work will help protect users and hosts while supporting the integrity and quality of a growing regional-language platform.

The position offers exposure to Trust & Safety operations at scale and the opportunity to develop expertise in online community protection.

This role is particularly suited to a detail-oriented professional who can handle sensitive content with sound judgment and professionalism.

Accountabilities

- Review and moderate audio, video, and chat conversations according to established community guidelines and moderation policies.
- Identify, flag, and escalate inappropriate, harmful, or policy-violating content.
- Apply community standards consistently and accurately across different types of user interactions.
- Audit recorded conversations to assess content quality, policy compliance, and adherence to moderation standards.
- Maintain accurate records of moderation decisions and contribute to periodic operational reports.
- Communicate with users and hosts when clarification of platform policies or moderation requirements is necessary.
- Stay informed about evolving community guidelines, moderation procedures, and Trust & Safety protocols.




- Support broader Trust & Safety initiatives designed to protect users, hosts, and the integrity of the platform.
- Handle sensitive or potentially disturbing content professionally, objectively, and with appropriate discretion.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve challenging cases and maintain consistent moderation decisions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Previous experience in content moderation, community moderation, Trust & Safety, or a related role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of community guidelines, online safety principles, and platform moderation standards.
- Strong judgment, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Mandatory proficiency in Marathi and English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Basic proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, and standard computer operations.
- Ability to review sensitive content while remaining professional, composed, and objective.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Experience with Trust & Safety operations or social, audio, or video-based community platforms is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills are advantageous.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing guidelines and substantial moderation volumes.
