Role Description This full-time Interior Designer role at SquareYards is an on-site position based in Bengaluru North. The Interior Designer will plan and design functional, aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for residential and commercial projects aligned with client requirements and brand standards. Responsibilities include developing space plans, creating design concepts, preparing construction drawings, and selecting FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The role involves collaborating with architects, project managers, vendors,



and contractors to ensure design intent is executed accurately and within budget and timelines. The Interior Designer will also prepare presentations, mood boards, and material boards, coordinate site visits, and support quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications

- Solid skills in Interior Design and Space Planning to create efficient, user-centered layouts and design concepts.
- Knowledge of Architecture and understanding of building codes to ensure designs are practical and compliant.
- Ability to develop detailed Construction Drawings for execution, coordination, and stakeholder communication.
- Proficiency in FF&E; selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment aligned with project budgets.
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong visual communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects in parallel.
