3. Experience Summary

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Risk Management, AI Risk Management, AI Governance, Responsible

AI, Model Risk Management, Technology Risk, or Regulatory Compliance within the BFSI sector.

• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in AI Risk Management and AI Governance programs.

• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale governance, risk, and compliance

frameworks for emerging technologies.

4. Role Overview

Seeking an experienced AI Risk Management, Governance & Compliance Specialist to lead enterprise AI

governance, risk, and compliance programs for BFSI organizations, ensuring responsible AI adoption and

alignment with global regulatory and industry standards. The role requires strong expertise in AI Governance,

Model Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, and AI Risk Assessment, with hands-on experience

implementing frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI Act, OCC MRM Guidance, SR 11-7,

DORA, MAS FEAT, SDAIA AI Ethics Principles, and UK PRA/FCA AI Guidance.

5. Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance programs across the AI lifecycle

• Design and implement AI governance frameworks, policies, controls, AI guardrails, AI Risk Management

Frameworks, Risk Assessment Methodologies, Model Inventories, Compliance Reports, and Governance

Operating Models

• Conduct AI risk, compliance, maturity, and control assessments

• Ensure compliance with global AI regulations and frameworks (NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, EU AI Act, DORA,

SR 11-7, etc.).

• Establish governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and oversight models for AI, GenAI, and Agentic

AI.

• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Business teams to manage AI risks.





• Drive AI governance reporting, remediation, continuous improvement, and regulatory readiness.

• Develop key AI governance artifacts, including frameworks, policies, control libraries, risk methodologies,

model inventories, and Responsible AI guardrails

• Develop AI use cases, advise CXO stakeholders on AI governance strategy.

• Design reimagined AI/Agentic AI workflows and journeys for Cyber/AI/Data Privacy/Cloud risks.

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, training, and awareness sessions to promote responsible AI principles

and governance adoption.

6. Required Skills

Core Skills:

• Expertise in AI Risk Assessments, Gap Assessments, Audits, Due Diligence, and AI Control Testing

(ToD/ToE).

• Strong knowledge of AI Governance, AI Lifecycle Management, Responsible AI, AI Ethics, and Risk

Quantification methodologies.

• Experience designing and implementing AI policies, control frameworks, and regulatory

compliance programs.

• Proficient in global AI regulations and frameworks, including NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, EU AI

Act, GDPR, CCPA, OECD AI Principles, DORA, SR 11-7, OCC MRM Guidance, MAS FEAT, UK

PRA/FCA Guidance, and SDAIA AI Ethics Principles.

• Robust capability to translate regulatory requirements into practical AI governance, risk

management, and compliance controls.

Technical Skills:

• Understanding of AI/ML models and explainability techniques (SHAP, LIME), Prompt engineering,

AI model monitoring tools.

Tools & Platform Skills:

• Experience with any AI Risk Management & Governance GRC platforms such as ServiceNow IRM

(AI Control Tower), MetricStream AiSPIRE, Archer Evolv, AI lifecycle platforms (e.g., MLflow,

SageMaker governance) will be added advantage.

Domain Expertise:

• BFSI risk domains, Cyber Risk, Cloud, AI and Emerging Risk

• Basel, FCA, ECB, GDPR, CCPA

7. Preferred Certifications

• ISO/IEC:42001 Lead Implementer/Auditor

• AIGP / AAISM / AAIA

• CISM / CRISC / CISSP
