Role: Senior Performance Tester / Lead Performance Tester

Location: Chennai / Hyderabad

Experience: 6+ Years to 14 Years

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement performance test plans, strategies, and test scripts.
- Day to day test lead activities such as organizing test analysts work tasks, provide mentoring on script design, execution, and analysis and review analyst work to ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
- Execute load, stress, spike, and endurance testing using JMeter and BlazeMeter.
- Analyze performance test results and deliver detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to provide insights and recommendations based on test outcomes.
- Monitor system performance using APM tools like Perfmon, Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, or similar.
- Develop and maintain performance test cases based on business requirements.
- Coordinate with DevOps and QA teams to support defect resolution and retesting efforts.
- Use JIRA for test case management, issue tracking, and project collaboration.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports for management and project stakeholders.

Required Skills:





- 6+ years of experience in performance testing.
- Test lead experience in planning, delivery and mentoring other team members.
- Able to work independently to analyse the requirements, prepare the design and run execution.
- Proficient in performance test lifecycle including requirements gathering, scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting.
- Robust hands-on experience with Apache JMeter (scripting, correlation, and execution).
- Experience with BlazeMeter for scenario creation, execution, and result analysis is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as Perfmon, Datadog, and AWS.
- Experience in developing test cases and plans against defined requirements.
- Familiar with coordinating with DevOps teams and understanding CI/CD pipelines.
- Working knowledge of JIRA or other test/project management tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
