Business Analyst – Reporting & Analytics

Role Summary

The Business Analyst is responsible for transforming complex enterprise data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role combines data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, financial analysis, and business partnership to deliver meaningful intelligence across Finance, Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical thinking, expertise in modern BI platforms, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions, self-service analytics, and automated performance measurement frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and reports using Power BI, Excel, and SQL.
- Build scalable, user-friendly reporting solutions that enable self-service analytics.
- Develop executive dashboards and reporting frameworks for business and financial performance metrics, including Revenue, Bookings, Margins, Backlog, Forecast, Customer Analytics, and Operational KPIs.




- Optimize dashboard performance through effective data modeling, query tuning, and reporting best practices.
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder discussions and workshops.
- Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and process improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Business, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to deliver reporting and analytics solutions.
- Support testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of BI solutions.
- Maintain documentation for reports, processes, and system changes.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2-3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Reporting.
- Advanced Power BI development and data modelling skills (Mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL.
- Experience creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving skills.
