Python Automation Test Engineer

Location: Surat / Co-working space in the candidate's city

Salary: ₹8–10 LPA

Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python and TestComplete.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and design test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing to ensure software quality.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Utilize tools like Git for version control and manage test cases effectively.
- Conduct API testing and ensure the functionality of backend services.
- Report and track defects through their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,



Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, TestComplete, and Selenium WebDriver.
- Valuable knowledge of automation framework development and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and defect lifecycle.
- Experience with functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
- Knowledge of PyTest, Git, API testing, SQL, and CI/CD is an added advantage.
- Good to average communication skills are required.
