Role Description The Senior Advocate (Real Estate) will manage and oversee all legal matters related to redevelopment and real estate projects, including title verification, drafting and vetting of agreements, and compliance with local laws and regulations. Responsibilities include advising internal stakeholders on RERA, municipal and regulatory requirements, handling negotiation and finalization of contracts with societies, landowners, investors, and vendors, and coordinating with external counsel as needed. The role involves preparing legal opinions, managing dispute resolution and litigation strategy, reviewing project documentation for risk mitigation, and ensuring legal due diligence on acquisitions and joint ventures. This is a full-time, in office role based in Pune, working closely with the leadership,



project, and acquisition teams to support smooth execution of redevelopment projects.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in real estate law, including redevelopment, conveyancing, title verification, and property documentation.
- Hands-on experience with RERA, municipal regulations, society redevelopment laws, and related compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements such as MOUs, JV agreements, development agreements, sale deeds, and lease contracts.
- Experience in dispute resolution, litigation management, and coordination with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities.
- Excellent analytical, research, and legal opinion-writing skills, with attention to detail and risk assessment capability.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with societies, landowners, partners, and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently on multiple matters, prioritize effectively, and deliver within timelines in a fast-paced project environment.
- LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council and several years of relevant real estate experience are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the Pune real estate market and prior experience with redevelopment or large-scale residential projects is a plus.
- Real Estate industry is preferred.
