We design and manufacture the furniture we sell.

Dimensions is a bespoke luxury furniture house, with our own design studio in Delhi and our own factory at Manesar. At our showroom in Sultanpur on MG Road a client sees what we are capable of, and then commissions something built for their own home. Most of our work runs across several rooms, and nearly all of it is customised in size, stone, wood or fabric.

Which is why this is a designer's job, and why we have stopped trying to fill it with salespeople.

THE ROLE

A client walks in with a house they cannot picture yet, or an architect's drawing and three rooms still open. You read the space, plan it, choose the materials, and design the scheme. You brief our factory so precisely that what gets built is exactly what you drew. Then you see it through installation.

We are a furniture maker, not an interiors firm. No turnkey interiors, no civil work, no contractors.

ABOUT THE COMMERCIAL SIDE, SINCE IT IS USUALLY THE STICKING POINT

Most designers are wary of showroom roles. They picture being turned into a salesperson.

We are not asking you to become one. We are asking you to see your own work through. You met the client, you read their space, you chose the stone and the weave, so you are the person who should be explaining it, not somebody handed a price list. Every time that conversation passes to a salesperson, the reasoning falls out of it and a considered piece becomes a number to haggle over.

And you are paid for carrying it. There is an uncapped incentive on every order you close,



and a higher rate again on work you bring in through your own architect contacts. We will put the numbers in front of you at the interview.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

7 to 15 years in interior design, bespoke furniture or luxury home retail. This is not a first or second job.

A degree or diploma in Interior Design, or a portfolio strong enough to make the qualification irrelevant.

You have dealt directly with clients whose furniture budget ran well into lakhs, and carried the relationship yourself.

Presence. You will be sitting across from homeowners furnishing an entire house, and from architects who have been doing this for twenty years. You need to hold that room, and hold your position in a negotiation.

A real eye for proportion, colour and material. AutoCAD or SketchUp is an advantage, though our studio can carry the drawings for someone who has the instinct.

Fluent English and Hindi.
