Role Description The Interior Designer will work in office at the Bhubaneswar showroom in a full-time capacity, collaborating closely with clients to understand their aesthetic preferences, functional requirements, and budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing interior concepts, creating mood boards, and preparing layouts and detailed drawings that integrate Clay's range of materials and finishes. The role involves space planning for residential and commercial projects, coordinating FF&E; selections, and ensuring cohesive design solutions across flooring, walls, lighting, and fixtures.



The Interior Designer will work with the sales and project teams to translate design proposals into executable plans, support material specification and sourcing, and oversee design implementation to maintain quality and brand standards. Regular client consultations, site visits, and coordination with architects, contractors, and vendors are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

- Ability to plan and organize interior spaces effectively, with strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and experience collaborating with architectural and construction teams.
- Proficiency in preparing accurate Construction Drawings and technical documentation for project execution.
- Experience in FF&E; selection, including finishes, fixtures, furniture, and equipment aligned with design concepts.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong visual sense, color and material awareness, and familiarity with luxury finishes such as marbles, tiles, and veneers.
- Excellent client communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in an on-site showroom environment.
