Laundry Delivery Staff – Roles & Responsibilities

- Customer Pickup & Delivery
- Collect garments from customers as per the scheduled pickup time.
- Deliver cleaned and packed garments safely and on time.
- Ensure the correct garments are handed over to the correct customer.

- Order Verification

- Check customer name, order number, garment count, and delivery details before delivery.
- Verify garments and packages for any visible damage or missing items.

- Customer Service

- Communicate politely and professionally with customers.
- Handle basic customer queries regarding pickup, delivery, and order status.
- Report complaints or special requests to the concerned team.

- Payment Collection

- Collect cash/online payments where applicable.
- Provide receipts and submit collected cash to the office/accounts team.
- Ensure accurate payment recording.

- Route & Time Management

- Plan delivery routes efficiently to avoid delays.
- Follow assigned delivery schedules and maintain punctuality.
- Use navigation applications when required.

- Order Handling





- Handle garments carefully during transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the delivery vehicle/bag.
- Ensure garments remain properly packed and protected.

- Documentation & Updates

- Update delivery status in the company system/app.
- Obtain customer confirmation/signature/OTP after delivery, where applicable.
- Report unsuccessful deliveries immediately.

- Vehicle Responsibility

- Maintain the delivery vehicle in clean and good working condition.
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations.
- Inform the supervisor about vehicle maintenance requirements.

- Coordination

- Coordinate with the laundry processing, billing, and customer service teams.
- Inform the team about delays, address issues, or customer-specific instructions.

- Professional Conduct
- Wear the prescribed uniform and ID card.
- Maintain skilled behaviour and good personal hygiene.
- Protect customer information and company property.
