Role Description The Insurance Advisor is a part time, hybrid role based in Gorakhpur, with a combination of on-site client meetings and some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the advisor identifies customer protection and investment needs, explains suitable ICICI Prudential Life insurance products, and assists customers in selecting plans aligned with their financial goals. Daily activities include prospecting and networking, conducting needs-based consultations, preparing proposals, and supporting customers through the application and documentation process.



The advisor maintains ongoing relationships with policyholders, provides post-sales service, tracks renewals, and follows up on leads to drive business growth while adhering to regulatory and company guidelines.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Insurance and Finance to understand life insurance products, risk protection, and long-term financial planning.
- Background in Consulting to conduct needs-based assessments and recommend appropriate solutions to customers.
- Proven Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term client relationships.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain complex financial concepts clearly and confidently.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting, manage time effectively, and meet sales and service targets.
- Comfort with basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM or similar platforms) for managing leads and policy data.
- Prior experience in insurance, banking, financial services, or sales is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
