We are looking for an experienced Electrical System Design Engineer to strengthen our engineering team and contribute to the successful execution of complex electrical projects.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical System Design Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, and developing electrical power systems for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should possess robust technical expertise in electrical schematics, AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP simulations, protection coordination, and power system analysis while ensuring compliance with relevant Indian and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical System Design

* Prepare complete electrical system designs for HT/LT power distribution systems.

* Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, control circuit diagrams, termination schedules, cable schedules, and panel layouts.

* Design electrical systems for substations, switchgear, MCCs, PCCs, APFC panels, DG synchronization systems, and transformer installations.

* Prepare detailed engineering drawings and design documentation.

AutoCAD Electrical

* Prepare and revise electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.

* Develop panel layouts, cable routing drawings, GA drawings, and detailed engineering drawings.

* Ensure accuracy and adherence to drafting standards.

ETAP Design & Analysis





* Perform load flow analysis.

* Conduct short circuit analysis.

* Protection coordination studies.

* Arc Flash analysis.

* Motor starting studies.

* Harmonic analysis.

* Relay coordination and system optimization using ETAP.

* Engineering Calculations

* Electrical load calculations.

* Cable sizing calculations.

* Busbar sizing.

* Earthing and lightning protection design.

* Voltage drop calculations.

* Transformer sizing.

* DG sizing.

* Battery and UPS sizing.

* Protection device selection.

* Technical Documentation

* Prepare BOQs and BOMs.

* Develop technical specifications.

* Review vendor drawings.

* Evaluate technical offers.

* Prepare engineering reports and design calculations.

Project Coordination

Coordinate with project managers, procurement, execution, and commissioning teams.

* Provide technical support during project execution.

* Resolve engineering queries from site teams.

* Review site modifications and implement design changes.

* Compliance & Standards

Ensure designs comply with:

* IS Standards

* IEC Standards

* IEEE Standards

* NBC

* CEA Regulations

* Electrical Inspectorate requirements

* Client specifications and project standards
