Role Description

The Commercial Growth Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding URSS's client base. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing the commercial pipeline, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Day-to-day activities include conducting market research, tracking performance metrics, coordinating with recruitment and consulting teams to ensure service delivery excellence, and providing regular growth forecasts and reports to leadership. The role also includes representing URSS at client meetings and industry events to enhance brand visibility and build strategic partnerships.

Preferred Experience

- 1–4 years bringing new clients from IT, Healthcare, Cybersecurity and Energy/Renewables sector.
- If you are from recruitment agencies with good client relations, you are welcome too.
- Strong B2B sales and communication skills.
- Existing corporate network or database will be an added advantage.

Salary: Fixed + Performance Incentives

Travel:



Travelling to meet clients when needed is a definite requirement for this role.

Qualifications:

Candidate must

1. possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage clients professionally and build long-term relationships.
2. Sales and Account Management skills to drive commercial growth, manage key accounts, and achieve revenue targets.
3. Basic vendor coordination skills to support commercial agreements and service-related procurement.
4. Have experience in business development, commercial strategy, or consulting, preferably within recruitment or professional services.
5. Demonstrate analytical skills, proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools, and the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
6. Candidates should be comfortable working in office in Chennai and meet clients whenever required.
