Role Overview

We are looking for a Jr. Data Scientist to join Durapid Technologies who can convert data science outputs and raw
business data into clean, interactive, user-facing applications. This role sits at the intersection of analytics engineering and product development — the candidate will query and shape data from SQL/Snowflake, then design and ship Streamlit applications that business stakeholders use directly for decision-making. This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain Streamlit applications that surface data science model outputs and business data to
non-technical stakeholders.
• Write and optimize SQL queries against Snowflake to pull, join, and shape data for reporting and application use.
• Use Python/Pandas to clean, transform, and prepare datasets for visualization and app consumption.
• Partner with the Data Science team to understand model outputs and translate them into intuitive, actionable
interfaces.
• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and iterate on application design based on feedback.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and usability across all delivered applications.
• Document application logic, data sources,



and workflows for maintainability.

Mandatory Skills
1. 2+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, BI, or application development.
2. Strong, hands-on Streamlit development experience — building and deploying interactive data applications.
3. Strong working knowledge of SQL and Snowflake for querying and data preparation.
4. Proficiency in Python and Pandas for data manipulation.
5. Robust communication skills, with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate their needs into application features.
6. Basic understanding of data science / machine learning outputs (e.g., model scores, predictions, metrics) and
how to present them meaningfully.

Good to Have
1. Exposure to Databricks or PySpark for larger-scale data processing.
2. Domain knowledge relevant to the business (e.g., CPG/FMCG or similar analytics domains).
3. Experience with data visualization best practices and UI/UX sensibility.
4. Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic app deployment workflows.
