About the Role

Anthriq’s semiconductor design company operates an on-premise infrastructure that includes a Nutanix hyperconverged compute and VDI cluster, an EDA compute farm, NetApp storage, Fortinet networking, and a dedicated server room, alongside a Cadence Palladium emulation environment. We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to own the day-to-day operation, reliability, and maintenance of this infrastructure. The role covers servers, virtualization, networking, storage, backup, and server-room operations, and works closely with the Engineering team to support the underlying host and network requirements.

Responsibilities

- Own the company's complete IT infrastructure end-to-end.
- Administer and maintain Linux (RHEL / Rocky 9.x) and Windows servers across the environment.
- Operate and maintain the Nutanix HCI cluster (compute, VDI, and EDA compute-farm nodes) — provisioning, patching, monitoring, and capacity management.
- Support the Palladium host servers (OS, drivers, networking, and connectivity) in coordination with the emulation engineer.
- Manage the Fortinet switches and firewall — VLANs, routing, firewall policies, and uplink/port configuration.
- Administer NetApp / NFS storage — shares, capacity, and performance.
- Own backup and disaster-recovery operations, including scheduling,



testing, and restores.
- Handle server-room operations — racks, PDUs, UPS, cabling, and environmental monitoring — and track power and cooling headroom as the room scales.
- Automate routine administration tasks using Bash and/or Python.
- Maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and general office IT services.
- Coordinate with hardware and software vendors and support partners for incidents, warranties, and renewals.
- Maintain documentation, monitoring, and basic security hygiene (patching, access control).

Requirements

Experience

- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems and network administration. Ownership of infrastructure is preferred.
- Strong Linux administration (RHEL / Rocky) and working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Solid networking fundamentals — VLANs, TCP/IP, and firewall/switch administration (Fortinet experience preferred).
- Hands-on experience with virtualization / HCI (Nutanix AHV or VMware).
- Storage administration experience (NFS / NetApp or equivalent).
- Experience implementing and testing backup and disaster-recovery solutions.
- Scripting and automation skills in Bash and/or Python.
- Understanding of server-room and data center operations — racks, UPS, PDU, power, and cooling.
- Ability to work independently across a broad range of technologies with strong ownership

Positive to have

- Exposure to EDA compute farms or job schedulers (LSF, Slurm), InfiniBand, and Cadence Palladium host maintenance
- Configuration management (Ansible); monitoring tools (Zabbix/Grafana/Prometheus); relevant certifications (RHCSA/RHCE, Fortinet NSE, Nutanix NCP).
