Area Manager – South Region

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to drive equipment sales and business development across the South region. The role will be responsible for regional sales performance, revenue generation, key account management, customer relationships and market development.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales and business development for equipment across the South region.

- Develop and maintain robust relationships with existing and potential customers and key accounts.

- Identify new business opportunities and expand the regional customer base.

- Achieve agreed sales targets, KPIs and revenue objectives.

- Understand customer requirements, market developments and regional business opportunities.

- Manage sales forecasts and provide timely business and performance reports.

- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to support annual plans and budgets.

- Manage and coordinate regional sales activities and team, as applicable.

- Maintain strong product, market and selling knowledge.





- Work closely with relevant internal teams to support sales activities.

- Travel across the South region as required.

Required Industry Experience

Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following industries:

- Rental

- Material Handling Equipment

- Industrial Equipment

- Construction Equipment

- Mining Equipment

- Access Equipment / Aerial Work Platforms (AWP)

Candidate Requirements

- 8+ years of overall relevant experience in Sales / Business Development.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales and Key Account Management.

- Extensive knowledge of the Aerial Work Platform (AWP) or Industrial Equipment market.

- Experience handling South India / regional business responsibility.

- Strong experience in sales targets, revenue generation and customer relationship management.

- Managerial / team-handling experience preferred.

- Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.

- Willingness to travel across the South region.

- Good command of MS Office.

- Higher education degree or equivalent work level preferred.
