Job Description

The Data Management Administrator is responsible for the creation, update and testing of data model and UI configurations across internal and external platforms. The role ensures that data model and configuration updates across our data coding and data management platforms and our client-facing PIM/PXM “Shopper Experience Platform" are delivered predictably, at quality, and within agreed project timelines.

Sitting within the Data Design team, the Data Model Administrator will report to the Product Manager (Data Content), while working closely with the Quarterly Release Manager to effect synchronous data management updates, including new and updated attributes and code lists, validation rules, internal data flows, and UI configurations.

Full training will be provided for this role.

Responsibilities -

1. Create and update system configurations in line with agreed data model and UI requirements.

1. Support a clear and effective handover of requirements by working closely with Data Design and wider delivery teams.

1. Apply configuration changes with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

1. Carry out testing activities to ensure configurations are set up correctly and behave as expected.

1. Create and maintain test products and update data to validate configuration outcomes.

Progressively develop the ability to define test plans and success criteria with guidance and support.

1. Proactively raise questions and clarify requirements within the team and with relevant internal stakeholders.

1. Communicate progress, risks, blockers, and dependencies to support timely delivery of quarterly releases.

1. Contribute to discussions on improving processes and enhancing existing configuration and testing tools.

1. Share observations and suggestions to help improve efficiency, quality, and consistency over time.

1. Build a strong understanding of internal and external data workflows, data models, and schemas.

1. Develop knowledge of validation logic and the role it plays in maintaining data quality across the supply chain.

1. Degree-level graduate (ideally related to data, technology, business), or equivalent experience

1. Basic proficiency with Office tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams

1. Demonstrates experience operating in a professional work environment, with accountability for tasks and deadlines

1. Positive awareness of e-commerce and FMCG industry

1. Interest in data, systems and digital products

1. Comfort working with detailed data, rules, or structured information
