Job Description

We are seeking a CloudOps Engineer to ensure the stability, performance, and cost efficiency of our AWS Infrastructure. You will own incident management, lead troubleshooting of production issues, and drive continuous optimization across our cloud operations. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in AWS services, security vulnerability remediation, and the ability to communicate complex technical issues to stakeholders. You'll be instrumental in maintaining high availability and strengthening our security posture.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Incident Management & Operations
Lead incident response; conduct RCA and implement preventive measures
Monitor AWS infrastructure 24/7 via CloudWatch; escalate and resolve issues
Maintain SLAs/SLOs; track and report uptime metrics to leadership

2. Infrastructure Management & Optimization
Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure (compute, networking, storage, databases)
Execute OS upgrades, patches, and security updates on production systems
Optimize AWS costs; identify and implement rightsizing and savings opportunities

3. Security & Compliance
Manage vulnerability assessments using Qualys, CrowdStrike, or similar tools
Remediate security findings; ensure IAM policies and access controls are current
Support compliance audits and maintain security posture

4. Communication & Reporting
Communicate technical issues clearly to management, engineering, and business stakeholders
Deliver incident reports, post-mortems, and optimization recommendations
Support cost analysis and savings tracking

Shift Timings: 9 A.M 6 P.M (Indian Standard Time). Work from office minimum 2 days/week.





Project Details

Marketing platform for consumer products & e-commerce, it is live in 150+ countries and supports multi-lingual web content.
Web Platform utilizes various technology stack mainly AEM-Web Content Management, Java stack and hosted on AWS Infrastructure utilizing CDN Akamai. This requirement is for AWS Cloud Operations and Support.
