Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior SAP FICO Consultant with specialized expertise in Fund Accounting and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). In this pivotal role, you will lead end-to-end finance transformation initiatives, design robust enterprise-grade accounting solutions, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. You will be instrumental in the full-cycle delivery of SAP FI and CO modules, ensuring seamless alignment with statutory, regulatory, and complex business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage full-cycle SAP FICO implementations, upgrades, and support projects across diverse industry landscapes.
- Configure and deploy core SAP FI components, including General Ledger (Current GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Travel Management.
- Design and implement comprehensive SAP CO solutions, focusing on Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing, and advanced Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Facilitate fit-gap analysis workshops, lead process blueprinting sessions, and produce detailed functional design documents.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other key SAP modules such as SD, MM, HR/Payroll, PP, and PS.
- Design and configure global charts of accounts, financial statement versions, and fiscal year variants to support international deployments.
- Manage and execute critical period-end closing activities, including depreciation runs,



revaluations, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Implement advanced financial functionalities such as document splitting, parallel ledgers, and multi-currency accounting.
- Configure and support tax solutions, including GST, VAT, withholding tax, and regulatory tax reporting.
- Oversee the migration of financial master data and open items using tools like LSMW, BAPI, or the SAP Migration Cockpit.
- Collaborate effectively with ABAP development teams to deliver custom reports, functional enhancements (BADIs/user exits), and critical interfaces.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), efficiently resolve identified issues, and ensure successful go-live and post-go-live hypercare support.
- Mentor and guide junior SAP FICO consultants, fostering knowledge sharing and building internal team capabilities.
- Maintain comprehensive solution documentation, develop user training materials, and create operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- A minimum of 10 years of progressive SAP FICO functional consulting experience.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering at least 3 full-lifecycle SAP implementations, with a strong preference for S/4HANA.
- Deep functional expertise in SAP FI modules, particularly New GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and multi-ledger architectures.
- Extensive experience in SAP CO modules, including CO-CCA, CO-PCA, CO-PA, and Product Costing.
- Specific experience with Fund Accounting principles within SAP and advanced CO-PA functionalities.




- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including a strong understanding of the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and Central Finance concepts.
- Demonstrated experience with SAP Activate methodology and robust project governance frameworks.
- Working knowledge of ABAP debugging to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Familiarity with key financial regulations and reporting standards, including IFRS, GAAP, GST, VAT, and local statutory requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Greenfield SAP implementations is mandatory.

Education & Certifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, CA/CPA, or a closely related field.
- SAP Certification in FI, CO, or S/4HANA Finance is a significant advantage.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with SAP Group Reporting, SAP BPC, or SAP SAC for financial consolidation and planning.
- Exposure to SAP Treasury - Risk Management (TRM) or In-House Cash (IHC).
- Knowledge of SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) and its application to IFRS 15 / 16.
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications for Finance.
- Experience with global rollouts involving multi-country and multi-currency deployments.
