Role Purpose Valsad, Gujarat Plant Operations Management / Director The Plant Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the manufacturing plant, ensuring secure, efficient, cost-effective and timely production while maintaining the required standards of quality and productivity. The role will lead cross-functional plant operations and drive the implementation of systems, processes, continuous improvement and operational discipline to support the organization's growth. Key Responsibilities
• Plant Operations: Oversee day-to-day plant operations covering Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Utilities and related functions.
• Production Planning & Delivery: Ensure production plans are achieved as per customer requirements, while optimizing machine capacity, manpower and resources. • Productivity & Efficiency: Monitor OEE, productivity, wastage, downtime, rejection and other key operational KPIs; take corrective actions to improve performance.
• Quality: Ensure adherence to defined quality standards and processes, reduce rejection/rework and drive root-cause-based corrective actions.
• Maintenance & Utilities: Ensure effective preventive and breakdown maintenance of machinery, utilities and plant infrastructure to maximize equipment availability.
• Cost Control:



Control manufacturing costs through efficient utilization of manpower, materials, energy and other resources.
• Process & Systems: Establish and strengthen SOPs, work systems, reporting mechanisms and operational controls for a systematic and transparent plant.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction and other initiatives to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, EHS standards, company policies and safe working practices across the plant.
• Manpower & Leadership: Build, develop and manage a competent plant team; establish accountability and performance-driven work culture.
• Inventory & Material Management: Coordinate with Stores/Purchase/Production to ensure optimum availability of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables and critical spares.
• New Product / Process Implementation: Support trials, process development, new product introduction and scale-up activities in coordination with relevant teams. • MIS & Reporting: Review plant performance through defined KPIs and submit regular operational reports to Management with key issues, actions and improvement plans
