Position: Manager – Planning
Location: Kochi
Qualification: Any Graduate / Postgraduate, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Production, or related field
Experience: Minimum 15 Years of experience in Production Planning, Procurement Planning, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Planning, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Salary: As per industry standards / based on experience Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Planning team and planning functions to achieve revenue, production, delivery, and inventory targets.
* Manage planning and ordering of raw materials and purchased parts within defined inventory targets.
* Establish and monitor inventory targets and initiate actions for inventory reduction and optimization.
* Prepare and manage revenue forecast files based on order forecasts and existing backlog.
* Finalize monthly revenue plans and roll out the corresponding production plans.
* Coordinate with production, procurement, sales, and other relevant functions to ensure smooth execution of the production plan.
* Monitor OTDP (On-Time Delivery Performance)



and drive continuous improvement to consistently achieve delivery targets.
* Manage customer escalations and urgent requirements while ensuring there are no customer line-down situations.
* Identify and highlight critical issues to management that may impact revenue forecasts, production plans, inventory levels, or customer deliveries.
* Support effective S&OP; preparation and planning processes to align demand, supply, inventory, and business requirements.
* Monitor planning performance and take corrective actions wherever required.
* Drive inventory optimization while ensuring uninterrupted production and timely customer deliveries.
* Ensure effective coordination between production, procurement, inventory, sales, and customer-facing teams.
* Prepare relevant planning reports, MIS, forecasts, and performance updates for management review.
* Handle additional responsibilities and strategic planning activities assigned by management from time to time.
