About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Head / General Manager – Procurement to lead the end-to-end procurement and purchasing function for a leading chemical manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in strategic sourcing, domestic and import procurement, vendor management, and cost optimization within the Construction Chemicals industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end procurement and purchasing function.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement plans.
- Manage procurement of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Handle domestic and import procurement to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships and negotiate commercial terms.
- Drive cost optimization,



value engineering, and procurement process improvements.
- Monitor inventory, market trends, supplier performance, and pricing.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team while ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Requirements
- Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry or B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (Mandatory); MBA preferred.
- Experience: 15–20 years in Procurement/Supply Chain.
- Mandatory experience in Construction Chemicals industry.
- Solid expertise in raw material and packaging material sourcing.
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end procurement, domestic & import procurement, vendor management, and commercial negotiations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
