The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing high-quality visual communication for the school across digital, print, social media, events, admissions, internal communication, and promotional campaigns.

The ideal candidate should have a strong creative sense, excellent design skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand the school s brand, values, and communication style. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced school environment and managing multiple design requests with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital & Social Media Design

- Create engaging social media posts, stories, reels covers, carousels, thumbnails, and campaign creatives.

- Design graphics for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.

- Create visuals for school achievements, student activities, competitions, celebrations, announcements, and events.

- Develop creative campaigns for admissions, open houses, exhibitions, workshops, and special programmes.

- Ensure all digital creatives follow the school s brand guidelines.

2. Print & Marketing Materials

- Design brochures, prospectuses, leaflets, flyers, posters, standees, banners, certificates, invitations, and newsletters.

- Create admission-related promotional materials and campaign collateral.

- Prepare artwork according to printing specifications.

- Coordinate with printers and vendors when required.

- Check proofs and ensure final printed materials meet quality standards.

3. School Events & Activities

- Develop visual identities and promotional material for annual functions, sports days, cultural programmes, exhibitions, conferences, competitions, and celebrations.

- Design stage backdrops, event banners, directional signage, certificates, invitations, digital screens, and presentation graphics.

- Create event-specific social media and promotional content.

- Support last-minute creative requirements during important school events.

4. Photography & Visual Content

- Assist in selecting and organising photographs for marketing and communication purposes.

- Perform basic photo retouching, colour correction, cropping, and image enhancement.

- Create photo collages, albums,



banners, and digital displays.

- Maintain an organised library of photographs, design files, templates, and brand assets.

5. Video & Motion Graphics

- Create basic video creatives for social media and school campaigns.

- Edit short-form videos, reels, announcements, and promotional videos when required.

- Add titles, subtitles, transitions, logos, and basic motion graphics.

- Basic knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar software will be an advantage.

6. Branding & Visual Identity

- Maintain consistency across all school communication materials.

- Follow approved brand colours, typography, logos, layouts, and visual guidelines.

- Develop templates for recurring communication requirements.

- Ensure correct usage of the school logo and other brand elements.

- Help strengthen the school s visual identity across online and offline platforms.

7. Internal Communication

- Design presentations for school leadership, teachers, workshops, meetings, and events.

- Create internal notices, circular graphics, staff communication material, and digital announcements.

- Design certificates and recognition materials for students and staff.

- Support academic and administrative departments with design requirements.

Software Skills

Required:

- Adobe Photoshop

- Adobe Illustrator

- Canva

Preferred:

- Adobe InDesign

- Adobe Premiere Pro

- Adobe After Effects

- Figma

- CapCut or similar video-editing software

Qualifications

- Bachelor s degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.

- 1-4 years of qualified graphic design experience.

- A strong portfolio demonstrating digital and print design skills.

- Experience with social media design and brand communication.

- Prior experience working with a school, educational institution, child-focused organisation, or similar environment will be an advantage.
