Company Man D&C;- To plan and carry out /supervise drilling Operations of CBM/UCG wells as per plan. Implementation of RIL safety and statuary compliances at rig site. Monitor contractor performance

Job Accountabilities

- Lead and supervise safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling operations for CBM/UCG wells, ensuring adherence to approved drilling programs and operational targets.
- Act as Company Man at rig site and ensure smooth execution of all day-to-day drilling and rig operations, including rig mobilization/demobilization and inter-location movement (ILM).
- Ensure strict implementation of company HSE standards, statutory regulations, and drilling operational procedures at site to achieve zero harm and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and optimize drilling performance for deviated and horizontal wells, including timely troubleshooting of drilling and wellbore complications to minimize Non-Productive Time (NPT).
- Drive a solid safety culture through active participation and leadership in safety drills, audits, toolbox talks, STOP card initiatives, incident prevention programs, and safety awareness activities.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of drilling contractors and third-party service providers through operational reviews, KPI tracking, and NPT analysis to improve operational efficiency and service quality.




- Prepare and review periodic contractor performance scorecards and recommend improvement actions for enhanced operational delivery and accountability.
- Manage drilling inventory, consumables, and material utilization at site to ensure uninterrupted operations and effective cost control.
- Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams including Civil, Electrical, LAQ, Logistics, and Land departments to ensure timely site readiness and smooth rig movement planning.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and on-site training to Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) and junior engineers for capability development and succession planning.
- Ensure accurate operational reporting, documentation, and compliance records related to drilling activities, safety observations, and well operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational optimization opportunities, implementing best practices, and contributing to drilling performance enhancement.

Skills Required:

- Experience of Supervising of Drilling Rig operation.
- Deviated & Horizontal drilling, Under Balanced Drilling / Manage Pressure Drilling, Rig equipments etc
- Valid IWCF-level 4 certificate.
- Coring Operation

Key Attributes:

- Graduate degree in Engineering.
- 8 years Experience in upstream O&G; industry.
- Experience in CBM/UCG/Oil& Gas Land Drilling Operations
