Job Summary

We are looking for a IT Operations Asst. Manager in Windows & VMware Technology.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain high performing service support functions at L2 Level for Server Systems and applications in the scope of the team.
- Responsible for ensuring high levels of performance in these processes, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required, Owner of the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes.
- Responsible for managing the escalation process, take ownership of major incidents to ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling the IT operations; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed
- Responsible for supporting the delivery of projects and developing a strong understanding of projects impacting your service area and ensuring service impact is minimized and agreed.
- Responsible for the quality of Service and performance; ensuring future demand from growth and projects is understood and factored into capacity plans for all associated systems
- Responsible for driving internal and external discussions, third party service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes.

Skills Required:





- Lead the multidisciplinary team to continually improve the environments including technologies like Windows, VMware, Citrix, Backup, Storage, Database, Active Directory.
- Hands on Experience in Datacenter
- Working Experience is a Manufacturing Plant Site for Electronic product.
- Strong work experience in SAN, OS, network, disaster recovery, high availability, firewalls, load balancers, and other advanced hardware concepts, clustering and VMWare etc. is required.
- Past experience in a Windows & VMware workplace is required.
- Lead POC efforts to research new tools/products.
- Experience provisioning, administering and troubleshooting a majority of services on Cloud Platforms.
- Ensure that the systems are built and maintained to high standards of performance and security
- Ensure that patching and antivirus updates are carried out promptly and effectively
- Performance & Quality - Make recommendations for Service Improvement Plans and ensure actions are followed through to completion in a timely manner
- Work with internal and third - party teams to ensure actions are taken and completed to protect and improve services
- Provide regular and accurate management reporting on IT Service performance
- Effectively deliver/manage team management including recruitment, mentoring, training, target setting and performance assessment
- Implement ITIL best practices on Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Process Management and Capacity Planning.
