Urban Company started as UrbanClap in November 2014, when its founders, Abhiraj, Raghav ,and Varun, realized that the home services industry was predominantly unorganized, fragmented, and offline. Customers found it challenging to avail quality services conveniently, and service professionals were struggling to make ends meet, having to rely upon several middlemen, contractors, and local aggregators.

The founders felt that the industry was ripe for disruption, and launched Urban Company, with three key principles in mind -

Business Context

We are looking for energetic, driven, and customer-focused individuals to join our Sales Development Program as Sales Consultants.

This is an on-ground, customer-facing role where you'll manage customer relationships, recommend home makeover solutions, drive sales, and coordinate project execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end customer relationships, from consultation to project completion.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable home makeover solutions.
- Drive consultative sales and achieve sales targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams and service professionals for timely project delivery.
- Ensure quality service and a positive customer experience.
- Resolve customer queries and project-related challenges.
- Track sales performance, customer interactions, and project progress.

What We're Looking For

- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.
- Passion for sales, customer engagement, and relationship management.
- Comfortable working with numbers and preparing quotations.
- Willingness to work on-ground and meet customers in person.
- Proactive, adaptable, and ownership-driven mindset.
- Freshers and experienced candidates with a strong interest in sales are welcome.
