Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate, diagnose, stage, and surgically manage cancer patients.
- Perform oncological procedures, including complex cancer resections and lymph-node dissections.
- Conduct pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, and informed-consent discussions.
- Provide post-operative management and long-term follow-up.
- Coordinate with medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, pathology, and other specialties for multidisciplinary treatment planning.
- Participate in tumor boards and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow evidence-based oncology protocols.
- Manage surgical complications and provide appropriate emergency care.

Preferred Skills

- Expertise in open and minimally invasive oncological surgery.
- Experience in breast, GI, colorectal, head-and-neck, thoracic, or other relevant cancer surgery.
- Knowledge of TNM staging and contemporary cancer-treatment guidelines.
- Robust communication, leadership, and patient-counselling skills.

Qualifications

- MBBS
- MS/DNB in General Surgery
- MCh/DrNB in Surgical Oncology
- Valid medical council/NMC registration
- 2+ years of relevant experience preferred
