Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Plant HR Head to lead the complete HR, IR, and Administration functions at our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The incumbent will be responsible for driving workforce planning, industrial relations, employee engagement, statutory compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, and organizational development initiatives while partnering closely with plant leadership to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end HR operations for the manufacturing plant.
• Manage Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) to maintain a positive work setting.
• Ensure compliance with all labor laws, Factory Act, CLRA, EPF, ESI, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
• Handle manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for plant functions.
• Manage contract labor, vendor compliance, and workforce productivity.
• Drive performance management, employee engagement, and reward & recognition initiatives.




• Handle grievance management, disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and employee counseling.
• Partner with department heads to address manpower and organizational needs.
• Oversee training and development programs, succession planning, and competency development.
• Monitor HR metrics, prepare MIS reports, and present workforce insights to management.
• Support audits including GMP, WHO-GMP, USFDA, MHRA, EU-GMP, and customer audits from an HR compliance perspective.
• Ensure smooth administration and employee welfare activities at the plant.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 1220 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong exposure to Plant HR, Industrial Relations, and Statutory Compliance.
• Experience in handling blue-collar workforce, contract labor, and employee relations.
• Knowledge of GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience in contract manufacturing organizations (CMO/CDMO) will be preferred.
