Roles and Responsibilities
- To complete the proof-reading, checking & other work related to manuscript and proofs.
Completing the task assigned, following the given guidelines within given timeline
- Minimize typographical errors
- Thoroughly checking the style and maintaining uniformity in layout of pages as well as book
- Evaluate the dimension of page elements such as images, text spacing and positioning to ensure they confirm to set specification.
- Coordinating with proof-reading team and editors and clarifying all queries
- Submitting daily reports to the manager
- Improve work efficiency
- Identifying all spelling mistakes, grammatical & punctuation errors and marking them clearly and properly on proofs
- Valuable command over respective subject
- Knowledge of all proof reading marks
