Location of Candidate - Pune, Ahmednagar

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day stores, warehouse, and material handling activities.
- Receive raw materials, bought-out components, consumables, tools, and finished goods as per approved documents.
- Verify materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, Material Receipt Notes (MRN/GRN), and specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality for incoming inspection and material acceptance/rejection.
- Ensure proper identification, tagging, segregation, and storage of materials.
- Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, material ledgers, and ERP entries.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Issue materials to Production as per approved Material Requisition / Production Order / BOM.
- Maintain proper control and traceability of raw materials, WIP, bought-out components, consumables, and finished goods.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and coordinate with PPC and Purchase for timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, physical stock verification, and periodic inventory reconciliation.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, excesses, and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of critical hydraulic components such as seals, O-rings, hydraulic fittings, valves, cylinders, machined components, tubes, rods, and other precision parts.
- Ensure appropriate handling and storage conditions to prevent rust, contamination, damage, mix-up, and deterioration.
- Maintain proper batch/lot/heat-number traceability for applicable raw materials and components.
- Manage rejection, quarantine, return-to-vendor, scrap, and non-conforming material areas.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, PPC, Production, Maintenance, and Accounts for material-related issues.




- Monitor material movement between stores, production, subcontractors, and external processing vendors.
- Ensure timely receipt and issue of materials to avoid production interruptions.
- Maintain records of subcontracting/job-work materials, including material sent, received, balance, and process status.
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of returnable materials, tools, fixtures, and company-owned items.
- Maintain housekeeping and implement 5S within the stores and warehouse.
- Ensure secure material handling and proper use of pallets, racks, trolleys, forklifts, and lifting equipment.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory and stores MIS reports.
- Monitor key inventory KPIs such as stock accuracy, inventory turnover, shortages, excess stock, ageing, and material availability.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and traceability.

Desired profile:

- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP software for Stores, Inventory, Purchase, and Material Management.
- Good working knowledge of GRN/MRN, material issue, material return, stock transfer, inventory adjustment, and stock reconciliation transactions.
- Ability to maintain and track item master, material codes, BOM, batch/lot numbers, heat numbers, and material traceability in ERP.
- Experience in monitoring minimum/maximum stock levels, reorder levels, inventory ageing, excess stock, and slow-moving/obsolete inventory.




- Knowledge of subcontracting/job-work inventory transactions and material reconciliation in ERP.
- Ability to generate and analyze inventory, stock, consumption, shortage, ageing, and material movement reports.
- Good proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filters, sorting, and basic data analysis.
- Good knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation, cycle counting, FIFO/FEFO, material traceability, and warehouse management.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems for GRN/MRN, material issue, stock transfer, material return, inventory adjustment, and stock reporting.
- Experience in managing subcontracting / job-work materials and maintaining proper material reconciliation.
- Good understanding of material identification, batch/lot/heat-number traceability, preservation, and storage practices.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, inventory MIS, and stock analysis.
- Experience in implementing 5S, FIFO, warehouse discipline, and inventory accuracy improvement.
- Strong coordination skills with Purchase, PPC, Production, Quality, Accounts, and Dispatch teams.
