Role: Translator Trainee (Gujarati to English & Hindi)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Translator who can accurately translate audio recordings from rural Gujarati into English and Hindi. The role requires not only robust language skills but also the ability to understand local dialects, cultural nuances, and the underlying context of conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Listen to and translate rural Gujarati audio recordings into English and Hindi.
- Capture the original meaning, intent, and local context accurately in translations.
- Analyze conversations and identify key themes, observations, and insights from the content.
- Interpret region-specific terms, expressions,



and cultural references for non-Gujarati audiences.
- Prepare clear, concise translation reports and summaries.
- Ensure high accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of work.

Requirements:

- Fluent in Gujarati, English, and Hindi (written/typing and spoken).
- Strong understanding of rural Gujarati dialects and cultural context.
- Ability to analyze qualitative conversations and derive meaningful insights.
- Excellent listening, comprehension, and writing skills.
- Prior experience in translation, transcription, market research, or qualitative research is preferred.
