Role & responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications • 7+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA, with strong expertise in PostgreSQL • Proven Experience on Aurora DB (Managed Postgres Cloud) • Proven Experience on Managing Cassandra Clusters • Proven experience managing multi-master PostgreSQL deployments in cloud environments (Azure & AWS) • Strong knowledge of database replication, clustering, and failover mechanisms • Proficiency in SQL performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) for database automation • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Robust communication and collaboration abilities • Proven knowledge of Database Tuning • Proven knowledge of Query Optimization • Knowledge of Patching and Security Updates • Knowledge of ITSM Process. Certifications (Preferred) • PostgreSQL Certified Professional • AWS Certified Database Specialty • Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate • Relevant SRE/DevOps certifications
