We are hiring a Junior Accountant for one of our clients in the Jewellery Industry.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting activities for a jewellery business. The candidate should have practical knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime, GST, TDS, sales and purchase entries, invoicing, payments, and jewellery-related accounting documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Record daily jewellery sales and purchase transactions in Tally/Tally Prime.
- Enter and maintain sales invoices, purchase bills, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Maintain proper records of jewellery purchases, sales, expenses, and other business transactions.
- Record customer and supplier transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Handle cash, bank, customer, and supplier accounting entries.
- Prepare invoices and maintain supporting documents for jewellery transactions.
- Assist with GST and TDS calculations, entries, records, and documentation.
- Maintain proper documentation for purchases, sales, payments, and other accounting transactions.
- Assist with tracking customer payments, supplier payments, and outstanding amounts.




- Prepare basic daily/monthly accounting reports as required.
- Coordinate with the senior accountant regarding accounting entries and financial records.
- Ensure all jewellery-related accounting transactions are entered accurately and on time.

Required Skills:

- Valuable working knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime.
- Practical knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Knowledge of sales, purchase, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.

Qualification & Experience:

- B.Com / M.Com or relevant Accounting/Finance qualification preferred.
- 13 years of experience in accounting.
- Practical experience in Tally, GST, TDS, and day-to-day accounting is required.
- Experience in the Jewellery Industry will be preferred.
- Experience handling jewellery sales and purchase accounting will be an added advantage
