Responsibilities

- Leading data science initiatives to transform raw data into actionable insights for informed decision-making
- Guiding teams in the application of advanced analytics and statistical techniques to solve complex business problems
- Developing and implementing machine learning models to enhance data-driven decision-making processes
- Collaborating with client support teams to design and develop robust data solutions that drive business growth
- Utilizing data science algorithms and troubleshooting techniques to optimize data analysis and visualization
- Mentoring team members to leverage their unique strengths and improve performance on client engagements
- Analyzing system components to identify linkages and interactions for comprehensive data solutions
- Taking ownership of projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and completion, to meet client expectations
- Encouraging innovation and the use of technology to enhance delivery and inspire team development
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in challenging conversations with clients and stakeholders to maintain project alignment

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree from Tier 1
- At least 7 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering

- Solid proficiency in Python for production-grade application or service development.

- Experience designing, implementing, and integrating REST APIs.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised service deployment.

Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design, querying, and performance tuning.

- Proficiency with Git-based collaborative development workflows.

- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, automated testing, design patterns, and maintainability.

- Working knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience setting technical direction, reviewing code, resolving complex issues, and mentoring engineers.

- Experience with asynchronous APIs, messaging platforms, or event-streaming technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Exposure to agentic development using frameworks such as LangGraph, the OpenAI SDK, or Google ADK.

- Leveraging tools and methodologies to generate innovative solutions
