Job Purpose

The Manager FOM Sales & Marketing will be responsible for developing and driving the market for Fermented Organic Manure (FOM) sourced from RIL plants at Satna and Jabalpur.

The role will focus primarily on sales, farmer engagement, market development, dealer/channel development and achievement of sales targets.

The position does not involve manufacturing, plant establishment or production operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the sales and marketing strategy for FOM in assigned markets.

- Drive FOM sales to farmers, FPOs, dealers, distributors and other potential customers.

- Develop a strong network of farmers and agricultural stakeholders.

- Identify new markets and opportunities for FOM sales and market expansion.

- Conduct farmer meetings, field visits, product awareness programs and demonstrations.

- Develop and manage dealers/distributors/channel partners.

- Generate recent business opportunities and convert leads into sales.

- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

- Develop territory-wise sales plans and ensure effective market coverage.

- Coordinate with RIL plants at Satna and Jabalpur for product availability, dispatch and supply requirements.

- Monitor market demand, competitor activities, pricing and customer feedback.

- Build long-term relationships with farmers, dealers, FPOs and institutional buyers.

- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, logistics and delivery.

- Ensure timely follow-up and collection of customer payments.





- Prepare regular sales and market development reports for management.

- Provide market feedback and recommendations for increasing FOM sales and farmer adoption.

Candidate Profile

Qualification:

- Graduate in Agriculture / Agricultural Engineering / MBA – Sales & Marketing or equivalent.

- Candidates from the agricultural inputs/fertilizer/organic manure industry will be preferred.

Experience:

- 4–8 years of experience in FOM, fertilizer, organic manure, bio-fertilizer, agri-inputs or related agricultural products.

- Strong experience in farmer-facing sales and rural market development will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of agricultural and rural markets.

- Existing farmer/dealer network in Madhya Pradesh will be an advantage.

- Solid sales and business development skills.

- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

- Ability to achieve sales targets independently.

- Willingness to travel extensively in the assigned territory.

- Strong execution, follow-up and reporting skills.

Key KPIs

- FOM sales volume and revenue.

- Achievement of monthly/quarterly sales targets.

- New farmer/customer acquisition.

- Dealer/distributor network development.

- Market expansion and penetration.

- Repeat orders and customer retention.

- Timely collection of receivables.

Business Model Clarification

- FOM will be procured from RIL plants at Satna and Jabalpur.

- RIL will retain its existing brand and packaging.

- Our responsibility will be primarily sales, marketing and market development.

- The position will not be responsible for plant establishment, manufacturing or production operations.

Compensation

CTC: Up to 7 LPA, depending on experience and suitability.

Performance-linked incentives may be considered based on sales performance
