Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Azure Cloud Engineer to support and manage enterprise Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud operations. The ideal candidate will have strong Azure infrastructure, networking, security, automation, and troubleshooting experience and be comfortable working directly with technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, configure, and manage Azure infrastructure.
- Manage Azure VMs, Virtual Networks, Subnets, NSGs, Storage, App Services, Functions, Key Vault, and Load Balancers.
- Manage Azure networking, private endpoints, DNS, routing, VPN, and connectivity.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID and Azure RBAC.
- Monitor Azure environments using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, authentication, performance, and deployment issues.
- Support Azure security, governance, backup, disaster recovery, and operational requirements.
- Develop infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Support Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes.
- Monitor Azure costs and assist with cloud cost optimization.
- Work with application, data, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture details, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Independently own assigned incidents, requests, deployments,



and technical issues through resolution.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of infrastructure/cloud engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure networking and infrastructure services.
- Experience with VNet, Subnets, NSGs, Private Endpoints, VMs, Storage, App Services, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Backup.
- Strong knowledge of DNS, routing, firewalls, VPN, and cloud connectivity.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC.
- Hands-on scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Azure CLI.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST.

- Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, or Power BI infrastructure
- Hybrid Azure/on-premises environments
- ExpressRoute and Private DNS
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Azure Policy
- CI/CD and automated infrastructure deployment
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-305

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a hands-on Azure Engineer, not purely an architect. The candidate should be able to independently investigate issues, implement solutions, coordinate with technical teams, validate results, and document the outcome.
