Role Overview
Responsible for the design, development, integration, and validation of thermal management systems for BEV and xHEV propulsion systems, including battery cooling, e-motor, inverter, and vehicle-level HVAC integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop thermal management systems for BEV/xHEV platforms.
- Define thermal system requirements and component specifications.
- Perform thermal simulation and analysis using GT-SUITE, ANSYS, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Support integration of cooling systems with battery packs, e-motors, inverters, and power electronics.
- Conduct DFMEA, DVP&R;, and component/system-level validation.
- Coordinate with vehicle architecture, controls, calibration, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Support prototype builds, rig testing, and vehicle-level commissioning.
- Optimize thermal performance, efficiency, reliability, and cooling strategies.
