Job Description:

Perform mechanical calculation, supporting procurement, reviewing GA drawing and detail fabrication drawings,
following up with vendors for all types of static equipment. Keep abreast of Industry codes, standards and guidelines
related to static equipment and package. Meet or exceed project expectations promptly within the budget limits.
Collaborate with inter disciplines and provide required deliverables pertaining to project/proposal.

Education Qualification:

•Bachelor Degree in Mechanical
Engineering

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years relevant experience within
the Oil and Gas industry
• Prior experience in EPC organization or
Static equipment manufacturing
company

Expertise:

• Thorough understanding of static
equipment design and construction with
a strong engineering background
• In depth knowledge of industry
international codes and standards such
as ASME, API, PD5500, EN13445, TEMA,
NACE, WRC, ANSI, PIP, ISO.
• Proven experience in handling all types
of Heat Exchangers, Tanks and pressure
vessels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Roles & Responsibilites:

• The Static Equipment Engineer is expected to have highly qualified on design and fabrication concepts of both Interfaces Prior Experience/Expertise Required
Offshore and Onshore pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers and Tanks.
• Should be valuable on COMPRESS or PV ELITE software to perform mechanical calculation.




• Review and approve sub-supplier calculations and fabrication drawings to ensure compliance with client
specifications or applicable standards as required.
• Study and understand the static equipment scope of work and quickly become conversant to SLB procedures and
standards.
• Prepares Static equipment Design Basis, Datasheet and Mechanical calculations based on applicable Codes and client
specifications including agreed exceptions.
• Review Provide necessary dimensional sketches, preliminary vessel weights and engineering instructions to the
designing team, as required to identify locations of nozzles, supports and other vessel attachments.
• Assist in providing necessary design information to Project/Client/Third Party, as required
• Prove mechanical design of pressure vessel internals, trays, baffles and distribution piping supports when required.
• Knowledge on appropriate materials, coatings, and corrosion protection measures to ensure the reliability and
longevity of static equipment and Package.
• Supervise the third-party engineering contractor and vendors.
• Participate in 3D model review as required.
• Assigned tasks should be executed with minimum supervision.
• Ability and willingness to travel, as required to fulfill project and business needs.
• Actively support, participate in, and maintain the integrity and on-going function of the Company and facility HSSE
program; ensuring a safe/healthy work environment.
• When delegated, must be able to complete the tasks with Company and Client standards and quality requirement.
