Role Description:

- Oversee day-to-day IT operations covering servers, Windows/Linux environments, infrastructure, cloud, virtualization and end-user computing.
- Ensure availability, performance, capacity and reliability of critical IT infrastructure and business services.
- Oversee IT incidents, service requests and escalations, ensuring SLA adherence and timely resolution.
- Review and take appropriate actions on SOC alerts related to IT infrastructure, coordinating with InfoSec/SOC teams for investigation and remediation.
- Lead IT initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technology implementations aligned with business requirements.
- Oversee Windows Server and Linux server management, including administration, hardening, patching, capacity, performance, availability and lifecycle management.
- Manage virtualization platforms and environments, including provisioning, resource allocation, monitoring, upgrades and lifecycle activities.
- Manage IT and application/software licensing, including license inventory, utilization, renewals, compliance, optimization and vendor coordination.
- Manage IT vendors, MSPs and technology partners, including service quality, SLA performance, commercials, renewals and governance.
- Manage security patching and vulnerability remediation across IT infrastructure, ensuring timely closure of identified risks.
- Maintain infrastructure,



operational and security documentation required for audits, compliance and business continuity.
- Ensure infrastructure and IT operations comply with ISO 27001, ISMS, SOC 2, DPDP requirements and internal security standards.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective, scalable and secure IT solutions.
- Build, mentor and lead a high-performing IT team, driving accountability, capability development and operational excellence.

Experience & Qualifications

- 1215 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience in the BFSI sector.
- Strong experience in IT infrastructure, Windows Server, Linux administration, cloud, virtualization and Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix or equivalent virtualization platforms.
- Experience in application/software license management, compliance and optimization.
- Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM practices; ITIL certification preferred.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft, Cloud (Azure/AWS), Linux and Virtualization technologies preferred.
- Proven experience in vendor management, IT project management and team leadership.
- Excellent communication, leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proven experience leading IT projects and teams in a fast-paced, business-critical environment
