The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 3000+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. We provide Opportunity to work in a global service setting, influence data-driven decision making, collaborate with

international teams and contribute to digital transformation initiatives. The Installed Base Engineer is responsible for building, validating and maintaining high-quality Installed Base data across

global service operations while supporting analytics, asset visibility and business growth initiatives.

How youll make an impact:

- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Installed Base (IB) data quality across assigned regions and countries.
- Installed Base data quality management
- Validate, enrich, and maintain customer, site, and installation information, Identify and resolve data inconsistencies to ensure accurate and reliable sites, products, assets, spares and service history records
- Perform Single Line Diagram (SLD) reviews, scanning to identify sites assets identification activities
- Extract and transform data and equipment information into structured digital asset records.
- Review engineering, commissioning,



and project documentation service reports, test reports, archived documentation.
- Able to work with SAP records to extract asset information.
- Collaborate closely with Field Service Engineers, Service Operations teams, and country organizations globally
- Support and coordinate user training sessions related to Installed Base processes, tools, and data governance.
- SAP, BI and digital tool utilization Strong data analytical skills.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related Engineering discipline
- Up to 5 years of relevant experience in substation operations, maintenance, service engineering, asset management or related fields.
- Strong understanding of electrical equipment, Switchgears, substations, transformers, electrical equipment and asset lifecycle management.
- Strong analytical thinking; effective communication; collaboration across cultures; customer focus; attention to detail; continuous improvement mindset.
