Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in Apache Kafka to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance distributed applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java-based microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and cloud-native application development.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement scalable backend applications using Java.
- Build and maintain event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
- Design Kafka producers, consumers, streams, and messaging solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and SDLC processes.

Required Skills

- 6-12 years of experience in Java development.




- Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17, Collections, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions, Streams).
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA.
- Experience in developing Microservices Architecture.
- Proficiency in REST APIs and messaging systems.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Valuable understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to Kafka Connect, Schema Registry, and Confluent Platform.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
