General description of role: To support our goals as an industry leader, we are seeking a compliance analyst to join our dynamic Legal Compliance team at our Gurgaon office. The position will report to : QA Manager - Compliance. This person must be able to self-manage, work in a quick-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, timely and efficient.

Job responsibilities

- Completing quality assurance (QA) review activity in line with documented standards relating to Financial Crime policies: gift entertainment sponsorships donations client third party due diligence sanctions screening and providing feedback to ensure that standards are maintained.
- Acting as a first level escalation point for colleagues when they escalate queries, making decisions where applicable, providing responses to such queries, or escalating to senior colleagues where required.




- Co-ordinating and documenting the second line review of third party (re)approvals; preparing case summaries risk assessments
- Completing regular risk-based monitoring, identifying potential issues and making recommendations for follow up activity.
- Maintaining analysing financial crime related data preparing regular MI reporting
- Supporting on other project work as required

Requirements

Skills/Competencies Required

- Has hands-on experience in managing Risk and Compliance workflows, Client/Third-Party Due Diligence, Watchlist Screening and Enhance Due Diligence.
- Has Microsoft Office skills: Intermediate to Advanced Word, basic PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with data analytics AI solutions/tools
- Demonstrable critical thinking and risk-based approach to problem solving
- Has good writing and proof-reading skills, including the rules of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
