Key Responsibilities

1. Safety Policy Implementation

- Enforce compliance with BPTPs safety policies, statutory requirements and international safety standards.
- Monitor adherence to safety protocols at construction sites, residential complexes and facilities.
- Support in developing and updating the organizations safety management system.

2. Site Safety Monitoring

- Conduct daily inspections of work areas, machinery, scaffolding, electrical systems and hazardous activities.
- Identify unsafe conditions, unsafe acts and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by workers and staff.

3. Training & Awareness

- Organize safety induction programs for current employees, contractors and visitors.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks, workshops and mock drills on workplace safety, fire safety and emergency response.
- Foster a culture of safety awareness among workers and supervisors.

4. Risk Management & Accident Prevention

- Carry out risk assessments, job hazard analyses and implement mitigation strategies.
- Investigate incidents, near misses and accidents; prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis.
- Recommend engineering and administrative controls to minimize risks.

5. Statutory Compliance & Coordination

- Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Building & Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act, Environmental rules and other applicable laws.
- Maintain required statutory registers,



records and permits related to safety.
- Liaise with government authorities, auditors and external agencies for inspections and certifications.

6. Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain safety logs, inspection reports and incident records.
- Generate periodic MIS reports on safety performance, training conducted and compliance status.
- Track key safety KPIs and report to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering with specialization in Industrial Safety / Safety Management.
- Degree in Engineering along with DIS / PDIS / ADIS from State Council.
- NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Fire & Safety preferred.
- 8-13years of relevant experience in safety management, preferably in real estate, infrastructure or construction projects.
- Robust knowledge of HSE regulations, construction safety standards and risk management practices.
- Excellent communication, training and crisis-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and enforce safety discipline across diverse teams.
