Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Safety & Security Lead to drive the development and integration of functional safety and cybersecurity solutions for next-generation automotive platforms. The role requires strong technical expertise in ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO/SAE 21434 along with proven leadership in guiding cross-functional teams to ensure safe, secure, and compliant automotive systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Define and lead functional safety (FuSa) concepts and safety architectures for automotive ECUs and HPCs.
- Drive cybersecurity architecture, threat analysis, risk assessment (TARA), and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, ISO-SAE 21434, ASPICE, UNECE R155-R156 and other industry standards.
- Collaborate with hardware & software teams on safety mechanisms, secure boot, intrusion detection, and secure communication.
- Perform and review FMEA, FTA, HARA, cybersecurity assessments and safety case documentation.




- Establish processes, frameworks, and tools for end-to-end safety & security lifecycle management.
- Mentor engineers and act as the technical authority for safety & security topics across projects. Work closely with cross-functional teams across globe

Professional & Technical

Skills:
-
Strong background in automotive embedded systems (ECUs, HPCs, middleware, networking).
- Hands-on experience in functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434) implementation.
- Proficiency in safety analysis methods (FMEA, FTA, HARA) and security methods (TARA, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing).
- Good knowledge of secure software development, cryptography, key management, secure OTA.
- Experience working with Tier-1s/OEMs and managing safety/security compliance across domains.
- 10+ years in automotive/embedded software, with 3+ years in a lead/architect role.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A Bachelor of Engineering in Computers Electronics or any related stream is required.
